Unfortunately we saw quite a bit of the doctors this week. BUT happy to report he is in GOOD health. We have been dealing with bad teething. Then we went Monday because he had no apatite and started loosing weight and diarrhea. Luckily two days of pedialite & blan food he is feeling much better. Wednesday was his one year check up... He is a perfectly healthy little guy! So finally after about two weeks of FUN today my happy, playful little man was back!!!
He has officially taken over our place.... And we wouldnt trade it for anything! He has his PLAY ROOM HEAVEN. Our son is definitely loved. :)
We had a WONDERFUL Christmas... Shane got home from work late so our entire day ran late. Meaning Brayden didnt get to enjoy Christmas dinner with us. :( We had a really yummy large breakfast, opened presents, naped, visited grandma lesli's, played and had dinner! It was a great day! Next year I think we will stay home all day so Brayden gets to play all day long. He wasnt too big on opening the gifts just yet but once the toys were put together he LOVED going from toy to toy! Next year will be so fun with him being 2 and having an 8 month old!! So much to look forward to.... I was JUST as excited Christmas morning to watch Bray play with his toys as I was when I was a kid getting toys. So fun to relive Christmas with our son.
We had a good streak where all it did was RAIN... we only went out when we absolutely had to. I have never liked running errands in the rain, none less with a heavy baby to carry. We spent many days cuddled up (when bray would allow it) & playing. Daddy & bray had some good "dudes time" too. I LOVE watching them play together!!!
He is so funny to watch when he is walking.... He has a little more work to do with his balance, but it gets better everyday. It has become quite a challenge to be out in public because ALL he wants to do is walk around and he isnt quite up to our speed, or anything close to it. :) Its yet another fun adventure with this lil guy!

Walkin little man... He can walk quite a bit now. He has been able to do like 8plus steps for a couple weeks now. He just needs work on getting himself up on his own. I wont consider him a full walker until that is his main form of getting around. You can call it a mama in denial. :) BUT being out has become some sort of nightmare because ALL he wants is to be down walking.... long gone are the days of our sweet child being content just sitting, unless he is eating of course. This video is a horrible one of him taking steps but I promise a better one SOON.
NEW LAUGH... As of a couple weeks ago this new laugh developed. It is HILARIOUS! If we laugh he whips this out. If he wants attention his whips this out. He really does find himself funny, its SO cute!
Hard to believe he was that tiny little baby just a year ago..... On Brayden's actual birthday we took him to a play place center where he was ALL over the place, went to lunch, strolled old town Temecula, came home and played more & enjoyed some cake before his bed time. It was a perfect way to celebrate our baby turning one. He is our biggest blessing in life... BRAYDEN MATTHEW ANAYA we love you so very much!!
We had a little birthday party for Brayden on the 11th. He was COMPLETE entertainment for us all. He knew it was his day & he LOVED all of the attention. It was so funny. Aside from being tired he had so much fun!! Here are a few pictures from the day...
